1. Contact us
Birdy Namnam is developed and supported by LumeTech LLC. For help, questions, feedback, or bug reports, email contact@lumetechllc.com.
To help us understand the issue, please include:
- your device model and operating system version;
- the Birdy Namnam app version, if available;
- what happened and what you expected to happen;
- the steps that led to the issue; and
- a screenshot, if it helps explain the problem.
Please leave out passwords and sensitive personal information. If you are a child, ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
2. The app will not open or is not responding
- Close Birdy Namnam completely, then open it again.
- Restart your device.
- Check your app store for an update to Birdy Namnam.
- Check that your device has available storage space.
Keep your birds safe: uninstalling the app or clearing its app data permanently deletes locally stored progress. Before taking either step, use the "Back up my birds" feature if you can still open the app, and save the backup somewhere you can access later.
If the problem continues, email us with the details above and any error message you see.
3. Bird sounds and speech
Your bird's speech uses your device's built-in text-to-speech system. Whistle sounds use audio files included with the game. Birdy Namnam does not use your microphone or record your voice.
I cannot hear my bird
- Turn up your device's media volume and check silent mode.
- Check whether audio is playing through connected headphones or a Bluetooth speaker.
- Close and reopen the app, then try again.
Speech is missing or sounds different
Speech voices and pronunciation depend on your device's text-to-speech system and language settings. If your device offers speech or text-to-speech settings, check that a voice is available for the language you are using. If whistles work but speech does not, mention that when you contact us, along with your device language.
4. Game progress and backups
Your bird's name, settings, learned words, and happiness stats are stored locally on your device. There is no account or automatic sync between devices, and LumeTech does not hold a server copy of your progress.
How can I keep a backup?
Use "Back up my birds" to create an export file, then choose where to save it using your device's share sheet. Keep a copy somewhere you can access outside the app, especially before changing devices or removing the app. You control where the file is saved or shared; LumeTech cannot access it.
My progress is missing
If the app was uninstalled or its data was cleared, the locally stored progress was deleted. We cannot recover it from our servers. If you have a backup file, keep it and let us know when you contact support. If progress disappeared without removing the app or clearing its data, tell us what happened before you noticed the issue.
5. Offline play and privacy
Birdy Namnam works offline and does not require an account or login. The game has no advertisements, in-app purchases, or third-party analytics, and does not collect or transmit personal information.
You do not need to enable microphone, camera, or location access to play. For more details about local storage, backups, and privacy, read our Privacy Policy.
