1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the WyoAngler mobile application operated by LumeTech L.L.C. (“LumeTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). WyoAngler brings current Wyoming stream, river, and lake conditions together in an angler-focused view.
2. Information used by WyoAngler
App features
WyoAngler uses your monitoring-station searches and the waters you choose as favorites to provide nearby-station search and saved-favorite features. WyoAngler does not use a separate third-party analytics service to profile those actions.
Water and weather data
Water temperature and streamflow data displayed in the app are obtained from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Local weather, wind, barometric pressure trends, and seven-day forecasts are powered by data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Availability and update times vary by station and service.
Information you choose to send
If you contact LumeTech for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and the details of your request, so we can respond.
3. Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK
WyoAngler uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display and measure advertising. Depending on your platform, device settings, consent choices, and Google's configuration, the SDK may process:
- An IP address, which may be used to estimate general location.
- Device, app, or advertising identifiers where available.
- App and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, and video views.
- Diagnostic and performance information, including crash or launch data.
- Advertising data, such as ads shown to or interacted with by a user.
Google may use this information for ad delivery and measurement, SDK operation, analytics related to advertising, and fraud prevention. These are the Google Mobile Ads SDK's data practices; WyoAngler does not add a separate analytics provider.

4. Third-party services
WyoAngler relies on the following third parties for the stated purposes:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK for in-app advertising.
- Water temperature and discharge data: the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Water Data API.
- Weather observations and forecasts: the NOAA / National Weather Service API.
- Official Wyoming fishing regulations and closures: the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. WyoAngler is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, USGS, NOAA, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, or any government agency.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
Your device and Google account may provide controls for advertising identifiers, ad personalization, and privacy choices. You can review Google's advertising controls in My Ad Center. If WyoAngler presents an in-app privacy choices message, you can use that message to review the available options.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information. Contact us using the address below to make a request. We may need enough information to understand and respond to it.
6. Data security and retention
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Third-party providers control the retention and protection of information they process under their own policies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when WyoAngler's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
