We collect zero personal information. The game does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect or request names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise or coarse location data, photos, audio recordings, or unique device identifiers (such as advertising IDs).
3. Device Permissions & Hardware
Birdy Namnam does not request access to sensitive device permissions:
- No Microphone Access: The app does not access your microphone and never records or processes audio.
- No Camera or Storage Scanning: The app does not access your personal media, camera, or personal device files.
- The bird’s speech and whistle sounds are generated locally using your device’s built-in text-to-speech (TTS) system and pre-packaged audio files.
4. Game Progress & Local Storage
All gameplay progress—including your bird's name, customized settings, learned words, and happiness stats—is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. Uninstalling the application or clearing its app data will permanently delete this information.
5. Backups & User-Initiated Sharing
If you choose to use the "Back up my birds" feature, an export file containing your game progress is created locally on your device. You have full control over where this file is saved or sent via your device's standard share sheet. We have no access to your backup files.
6. Third-Party Services & Advertising
Birdy Namnam is completely ad-free and tracking-free:
- No third-party advertisements or ad networks.
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No in-app purchases or payment processing libraries.
- The game functions entirely offline without requiring an active internet connection.
